(More customer reviews)I gave the Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Cleaning Gel a try on a Saturday right before my son's birthday party. It was fairly simple to use after reading the instructions.
I am very sensitive to odors, so at first I did not care for the smell. I do not normally use cleaning products that have a lasting smell. This one smelled like a strong cleaning product. Most people will not be bothered by this but I am very sensitive to these odors.
The only problem I ran into was that it caught the attention of my 4 year old son and he actually stuck his finger in the toilet gel once or twice! I was lucky he showed me what he did and didn't try to eat it! I think this problem can be solved by putting the gel on the opposite side of the bowl that he can't see when he goes in to use the toilet!
This little gel disc lasted a full week and kept the bowl very clean, no complaints on that! I think this was quite impressive since this is our main bathroom and it lasted through a birthday party on Saturday and the rest of the week with heavy flushing. I do not work so I am home with my 4 yr old and 2 yr old. The strong smell went away after about the 3rd day I believe. There are still 5 more gel discs left in this package for 5 more weeks of clean!! I really can't wait to keep trying this product to see how clean the bowl stays for the 5 weeks!
